Live Site Dismantling

Redundant equipment over 110 tonnes cannot be moved on public roads, so we will safely dismantle the equipment on site, remove it to our premises for disposal and take care of the environmental implications on your site - all with the minimum of disruption for your site and people.

C. Soar & Sons are committed to all aspects of health, safety and the environment, be it on a customer’s site or in our own works. All personnel employed by C. Soar & Sons are competent to carry out their duties and have proof of certified training for any task that requires it. All personnel are issued with full P.P.E.

Where large transformers need to be moved for dismantling we use our own skating system. The skating system we use has been specifically designed and built for the movement of heavy electrical plant and is capable of moving plant up to 600 tonnes.

Environmental Issues

All materials removed from site will be transported to our licensed site in Barnsley, where it will be processed and disposed of in line with current environment legislation.
