C Soar & Sons was established over 50 years ago by Clarence Soar as a general scrap merchant but he soon moved into working with scrap cable and dismantling electrical equipment resulting from war times and the mining industry.
This soon progressed into working with the regional electricity companies and various Power Stations. This is now the sole focus of the business, although the company has the capacity to demolish associated walls, buildings and structures.
The business remains entirely in family ownership and is now run by the second and third generations of the family. With over 40 employees, it provides innovative solutions to the needs of the electricity industry.
